In the golden autumn of September, Shanghai Ou Yang Offshore Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (Ou Yang Offshore Engineering) and Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (Dajin Heavy Industry) held a signing ceremony for the construction contract of 2 + 2 800-ton jack-up Wind Turbine Installation Vessels in Shanghai. Dajin Heavy Industry will build an 800-ton jack-up Wind Turbine Installation Vessel for Ou Yang Offshore Engineering. Two of the contracts will take effect immediately and enter the construction stage, and the other two will take effect after the two parties sign the contract at the time agreed in the letter of intent. Mr. Shao Xu, General Manager of Ou Yang Offshore Engineering, and Mr. Zhan Jinfeng, Chairman of Dajin Heavy Industry, signed the contract on behalf of both parties.

The 800-ton jack-up Wind Turbine Installation Vessel jointly built by the two parties is a new generation of deep-sea jack-up Wind Turbine Installation Vessel independently developed, designed, constructed and managed by Ou Yang Offshore Engineering, and an operation and maintenance vessel of the new generation of deep offshore self elevating wind turbines customized for China's "14th Five-Year Plan" offshore wind power market.

Based on Ou Yang Offshore Engineering's complete design, construction, ship management, and operation industry chain and its rich experience in building four jack-up wind power installation, operation and maintenance vessels, the new vessel will have high reliability, high economy, a variety of models, and the high adaptability of various types of sea areas, which can meet the installation and operation needs of deep-sea wind turbines under the complex sea conditions and comprehensive submarine geological conditions in the offshore wind power parity era.
