Gao Zhen, Distinguished Professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University (Academician of the Norwegian Academy of Technical Sciences), and Alistair Borthwick, academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Society of Edinburgh, visited Ou Yang Offshore Engineering.

On February 2, 2024, Professor Gao Zhen of Shanghai Jiaotong University (Academician of the Norwegian Academy of Technical Sciences), Professor Alistair Borthwick, Academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Society of Edinburgh (Visiting Professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University), Professor Lin Zhiliang of the School of Marine and Architectural Engineering of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and researcher Jin Jingzhe visited Shanghai Ou Yang Ocean Engineering Group Co., Ltd., and had a discussion and exchange with Dr. Cang Jie, executive director of the company, and key personnel from the R&D department and marketing department. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on issues such as the future development prospects of offshore new energy and offshore wind power, systematic solutions for offshore engineering under the trend of large-scale wind turbines, and industry talent training.

In the meeting, Ou Yang Offshore Engineering first introduced the development process of the group company, the foundation of its foothold, the company's performance in recent years and the direction of its future. Professor Gao Zhen shared the cutting-edge technology direction and application prospects of offshore new energy and offshore wind power development. The two sides agreed that with the vigorous development of the national offshore wind power industry, the two sides have more opportunities for cooperation and exchanges in the formulation of industry standards, technological innovation and industry personnel training. In future projects and R&D practices, the two sides will seek further cooperation and exchanges to contribute more to the implementation of the country's strategy for the new energy.
