At 5:58 am on August 30, 2022, the first ship "Ou Yang 005" of Ou Yang's fourth-generation OY-SEU800 series Wind Turbine Installation Vessel designed and built by Shanghai Ou Yang Offshore Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (Ou Yang Offshore Engineering) was successfully put into water in Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (Dajin Heavy Industry).

"Ou Yang 005" is the first ship of four OY-SEU800 series jack-up Wind Turbine Installation Vessel built by Dajin Heavy Industry and commissioned by Ou Yang Offshore Engineering. Since the start of construction in December 2021, the two parties have overcome difficulties caused by various factors like the epidemic prevention and control and slow supply chain, and worked together to ensure the progress of key nodes, providing strong support for the final on-time delivery. It will be completed and delivered in October this year.

Ou Yang OY-SEU800 series jack-up Wind Turbine Installation Vessel is a new generation of deep-sea jack-up Wind Turbine Installation Vessel independently developed, designed, constructed and managed by Ou Yang Offshore Engineering, customized for China's offshore wind power parity large megawatt model market, with the installation, operation and maintenance capabilities of 16MW offshore wind turbines. Relying on Ou Yang Offshore Engineering's complete design, construction, ship management, operation industry chain and rich experience in the installation, operation and maintenance of four jack-up wind turbine installation vessels that have been put into use, the new vessel has high reliability, high economy, a variety of models, and high adaptability of various types of sea areas, which can meet the installation and operation needs of large-megawatt wind turbines under the complex sea conditions of deep seas and comprehensive submarine geological conditions in the era of offshore wind power parity.

The contract for four OY-SEU800 series jack-up Wind Turbine Installation Vessels entrusted by Ou Yang Offshore Engineering to Dajin Heavy Industry is another in-depth cooperation between the two parties after the successful completion of two high-performance deck ships "Ou Yang 101" and "Ou Yang 102" delivered by Dajin Heavy Industry to Ou Yang Offshore Engineering in 2021. With the smooth operation of "Ou Yang 005" in water, the other three OY-SEU800 series jack-up Wind Turbine Installation Vessels jointly built by the two parties are also under intensive construction, and are expected to be delivered for use at the end of this year and the first half of next year. The large-megawatt offshore wind power parity project in the subsequent "14th Five-Year Plan" provides an important guarantee and contributes to the realization of the national "3060" carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goal as scheduled.
