On December 19, 2020, 50 wind turbines of Luneng Rudong H14 # 200MW offshore wind farm project were put into operation at full capacity and connected to the grid, becoming the first offshore wind power project to achieve full capacity grid connection among the 24 new projects approved in the same batch in Jiangsu Province in 2018.
Luneng Rudong Project is the first full-life cycle digital intelligent offshore wind farm in China invested by Luneng New Energy, with a total investment of about 3.5 billion yuan. It has installed 50 Shanghai Electric 4.0 MW wind turbine generators, which is also the first large-scale operation project of Shanghai Electric SWT-4. 0MW-146 model.
Since "Ou Yang 001" of Ou Yang Offshore Engineering entered the site in May 2020, in the face of multiple factors such as strong convective weather, complex sea conditions, typhoons and other complex and changeable offshore construction environments and the impact of COVID-19, under the guidance and support of CCCC Third Harbor New Energy Company and Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group, the Ou Yang Offshore Engineering project team was not afraid of difficulties, sincerely united, scientifically organized, meticulously constructed, made full use of each construction window period, and completed the installation task of all wind turbines in Luneng RuDongfeng Farm in a safe, high-quality and efficient way. In October 2020, it set an impressive record of installing 10 wind turbines in a single natural month for a single ship of offshore wind power in China, installing 8 wind turbines for 15 consecutive days and 13 wind turbines for 30 consecutive days, which won high recognition and praise from the owner and relevant parties.
The Luneng Rudong project is also the first offshore wind power installation service project undertaken by Shanghai Ou Yang Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Ou Yang Offshore Engineering. Ou Yang Offshore Engineering will continue to provide high-efficient and high-quality wind turbine installation service for offshore wind farms in Rudong, Jiangsu and contribute to the construction of Jiangsu's "Three Gorges on the Sea" and the promotion of green and high-quality development along the coast of Jiangsu.
